E-Every move I make -Dave Crowder Band

I remember first hearing this song in my youth group. I was drawn to it’s melody, and not necessarily it’s message at the time. There were also lots of hand motions that I loved!

However, as I have gotten older, the message of the song has meant more to me.

The song begins with these words:

“Every move I make I make in you You make me move Jesus Every breath I take I breathe in You Every step I take I take in you You are my way Jesus Every breath I take I breathe in You”

When I am truly walking in God and his ways, I am walking and following after Him. When I walk in the ways of God, I dedicate my life (my every breath) to him, as I step into what God has for me today.

The chorus is: “Waves of mercy, waves of grace Everywhere I look I see your face Your love has captured me Oh my God This love how can it be?

God has changed my life in such way in that the phrase: “waves of mercy and “waves of grace” cannot be a better description for it. He has poured his mercy, and grace through His Son in my life in such a way that can be only described as “only God could have done this” . All the blessings of my life come from him.

Is every move you make in Jesus? Does your life, every breath, every word moments reflect Jesus?

Every day is a conscious choice to walk in his ways and point the world to him.

May your every move be made in Jesus. May you dedicate your every day moments to Jesus, so that people may see Jesus in you.
