I have had a tendency almost my whole life in not really seeing and embracing the beauty of creation. Seeing the great color of flowers, the colors in the sky after a sunset, the wonder and thunder of a thunderstorm has not really appealed to me. I have often been content to stay in my own world and not been interrupt by anything.

However, in my state of contentment, I have missed out in seeing the true wonder of God. This is why such a song as this one wakes me up from the slumber of my contentment and see the true glory of who God is.

The chorus reflects this wonder: “God of wonders beyond our galaxy

You are Holy, Holy

The universe declares Your Majesty

And You are Holy Holy

Lord of Heaven and Earth

Lord of Heaven and Earth”

God is a God of wonders beyond the galaxy. He is holy, so unlike me. But I also believe, God proclaims his wonders through the cry of a newborn baby, two lives coming together as one, one coming to Jesus in true faith and obedience. May I as, as a precious creation of God, proclaim his majesty with my life.

The song goes on to to state that God is with us in the good and bad of life:

“Early in the morning

I will celebrate the light

When I stumble in the darkness

I will call Your Name by night”

When I wake up each morning, I can embrace the “light” by seeing the wonder of Him through creation and the daily living of my life. When I walk away from Him, I can turn back to God in full faith and obedience, knowing He will answer the cry of my heart to walk closer to Him.

I urge you friends, to take time today to stand in awe of God today. See his majesty through creation, see his beauty through his blessings He has given you.

Our God is so much more than hearts can comprehend or imagine. And that is one of the greatest things in life to embrace fully.
