"When it comes to the grace of God Sometimes it's like

I'm playing Game Boy standing in the middle of the Grand Canyon I'm eating candy sitting at a gourmet feast I'm wading in a puddle when I could be swimming in the ocean Tell me what's the deal with me (I know the time has come for me to) Wake up and see the glory"

I am a man who is addicted to his phone. I love seeing the news of my favorite interests, scrolling through Facebook, but if I am honest there is something more to it than that. It is something I rely on when I am bored or frustrated, or uncomfortable in social situations.

However, one of the greatest barrier between me and my wife over the best two years has been over the usage of my phone. Sometimes I have so glued to it than I don't see the grace of God in the gifts He has given me. My wife. My son. Two wonderful gifts right before me. This is why I can rely to the line "Sometimes it's like I'm playing Gameboy standing in the middle of the Grand Canyon". If I took more time to be intentionally present with them, I would be making memories every chance I had the time too.

"How could I trivialize it This awesome gift of God's Grace Once I had come to realize it I should be speechless and amazed"

When I come to trivialize the gifts of God's grace, even the grace of God itself, it is like I am taking God for granted. I don't want to take God for granted. I want to be speechless and amazed at what God has and will continue to do in my life. I just need to wake up spiritually and see the glory through my family, my friends, and creation. It all begins with walking away from the phone a little each day and taking a step towards the grace of God.

Are there things that prevent you from seeing the grace of God all around you? Do you need to make choices today that will help you "wake up and see the glory"?

Friends today, is your moment. Wake up. Open your eyes. See the glory of God's grace displayed through Himself, His people, and creation. Take those steps. I promise you you wouldn't regret it. It is at that moment, you will live life to the fullest and take hold of life as Jesus intended you to do.
