"This is your life, are you who you want to be? This is your life, are you who you want to be? This is your life, is it everything you dreamed it would be When the world was younger and you had everything to lose?

The question, "Are you who you want to be?" is a question I have been asking myself in the past few days. I came home sick from work on Tuesday after the result of eating too much food the night before. My wife and I had a conversation about my eating habits and the choices I need to make if I wanted to intentionally present in the life of my family. I realized from that conversation that I was not living my best life and I needed to make better choices for my family, and ultimately for the advancement of Jesus's name on the earth.

At the end of my life, I don't want food to be what consumed me and overtook me. I want it to be said that Jesus was the best thing that happened to Michael Moore. That Jesus consumed him and overtook him and made him into a man after God's own heart. A man who loved God, loved people, and served the world. That his family saw Jesus in him, and he pointed them to Jesus with his life.

"Don't close your eyes Don't close your eyes Don't close your eyes Don't close your eyes"

So God is saying to me and my heart, "Don't close your eyes. Enjoy and cherish life at it's fullest. Keep your eyes focused on Me. It is then you will find the life I want for you."

Are you the person you want to be? If not, you have the opportunity to turn from your old life into a new, bold adventure with Jesus at the center of it. All it takes is one step towards surrender and bold trust in Jesus.

Make a bold step today, friends. Ask God, "What are the steps I need to make towards a freer and more fearless life?" Once you hear the steps you are to make, make them, knowing that your loving Father is with you each step of the way.
