"You're on the verge of a miracle Standing there Oh you're on the verge of a miracle Just waiting to be believed in Open your eyes and see You're on the verge of a miracle"
Sometimes miracles are hard to believe in and embrace fully. We are not willing to put in the hard work so that God may surprise us and move us in ways we never would think of embracing on our own.
I am finding this to be the case in my life. I began my new job this week, I found myself saying to myself, " I wish I could just be a writer." I told my wife this, and she told me she didn't believe me. Not that she doesn't see the passion I have in writing, but I am not always spending the time I could in embracing the gift God has given me. This challenged me to see if I truly believe that these entries could become a book. I would rather just wish it to happen, than put in the hard work that is necessary for the miracle to happen.
If I look upon the miracles of my life from preaching my first sermon to meeting my wife, I can see that it was only with hard work and trust in God, that they came to pass. I just have to embrace that God could do a miracle with the writing and publishing of the book that God has called me to write.
I believe that belief and trust in God are essential to embracing the miracles that lay before us each and every day. You are on the verge of a miracle, friend.
What will it take for you to embrace the miracle that God has laying before you? It may be God is calling you to write a book. Or maybe embrace new friendships.
I urge you to embrace the miracles before you and come in a place of deeper belief and trust that the God who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.
